This database indexes records of the Hancock County Court of Sessions from 1788 to 1881. The State Archives notes that "The Court of Sessions, in addition to handling early criminal cases, also had the function of early County Commissioners. These records list costs of County Government, criminal cases, road petitions, appointing ferrymen and innkeepers, and reports from the County Coronor, etc."
