Boundary Changes
The northern boundary of Kennebec County (and of this plantation) was altered in 1813 to run due west from the northwest corner of the present town of Troy to the east line of Clinton
Land was set off to Unity in 1813, and to Joy (now Troy) in 1819
That part of Pittsfield lying south and east of the Sebasticook River was annexed in 1821
Part of Clinton Gore Plantation (organized for election purposes in 1840) was annexed in 1873, the remainder being set off to Clinton
