This database contains data on 1,893 men from Maine and other places around the northeast who served in the 33rd and 34th U.S. Infantry. It also contains the names of those on board the U.S.S. Adams, blown up at Hampden, Maine, on Sept. 3, 1814.

Transcriptions of Maine militia company rolls will be found in the Maine Genealogy Archives. Images of War of 1812 muster and descriptive rolls for Maine and Massachusetts may be viewed at FamilySearch.
